5-Step Grooming Process – For an average size field, this process typically takes two days.

  1. Vacuum - Removes debris and other contaminants from the surface and infill
  2. De-Compact - Adds loft to your sand and/or rubber infill, resulting in a lower g-max, and can increase drainage capacity.
  3. Brush - Straightens fibers and redistributes infill to increase surface traction.
  4. Re-Vacuum - Removes additional debris and contaminants released during de-compaction and brushing.
  5. Apply Antimicrobial Solution - Bac-Shield™ antimicrobial treatment provides a layer of protection against odor causing bacteria, mold, mildew and fungi for your playing surface and athletes by giving antibacterial and antifungal properties to synthetic turf surfaces, inhibiting their growth. It can be applied to new and existing fields without changing the appearance or performance of the playing surface. Bac-Shield™ is registered with the EPA as a Category III product and is biodegradeable.
